Artist Submission Agreement

1. Scope of This Agreement

This Artist Submission Agreement ("Agreement") governs your submission, creation, or claiming of an artist profile on the SATILYTE platform (the "Service") and any music, video, image, biography, link, or other material you provide ("Artist Content"). By submitting or claiming a profile, you accept this Agreement in addition to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility and Identity

  • You represent that you are the artist, a member of the act, or a duly authorized representative (e.g., manager or label) acting with permission.
  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information and keep it updated.
  • SATILYTE may require verification of identity or channel ownership, and may suspend or remove any profile that cannot be verified or that misrepresents identity.

3. Ownership and Rights You Grant

You retain ownership of your Artist Content. You grant SATILYTE a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, index, cache, reformat, and promote your Artist Content within and in connection with the Service, including in charts, search results, playlists, feeds, and marketing of the Service.

You represent and warrant that you own or control all rights necessary to grant this license, and that your Artist Content does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of any third party.

4. Publicly Available Content and Indexing

The Service may index and display information about music videos and artists that is publicly available through third-party platforms (such as YouTube) in accordance with those platforms' terms. If you believe content associated with your profile is inaccurate or should be removed, contact us and we will review the request. Claiming a profile does not transfer ownership of third-party platform content to SATILYTE.

5. YouTube Channel Connection

If you connect a YouTube account, you authorize SATILYTE to access channel information solely to verify that you own the channel associated with your releases. For free and pro tiers, access is read-only and access tokens are not retained after verification. Enterprise analytics features require additional read-only permissions that you grant separately. You may disconnect at any time from your profile or via your Google Account permissions.

6. Viral Scores — Informational, Not a Prediction

SATILYTE may display a "viral score" and related momentum metrics for artists and videos. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Viral scores are informational indicators only and are not predictions, guarantees, or assurances of future performance, streams, revenue, chart position, or career outcomes.
  • Scores are computed from signals that may include publicly available engagement data (such as views, growth rate, recency, and velocity), platform activity, and internal weighting factors. The methodology, inputs, and weightings may change at any time without notice.
  • Scores may be delayed, estimated, incomplete, or affected by third-party data availability, and may not reflect real-time figures.
  • You will not represent SATILYTE viral scores as an official ranking, endorsement, or financial projection, and you use them at your own discretion and risk.

7. Promotional Videos

If you use SATILYTE's promotional video tools, you are responsible for ensuring you hold all rights to the source material you upload. Promotional videos may include SATILYTE branding or watermarks. You grant SATILYTE a license to apply such branding and to process, transcode, and store the resulting content to deliver the feature. Free promotional videos are intended for external sharing and may be subject to eligibility requirements, including having a propagated, publicly available video on the platform.

8. No Guarantee of Results

SATILYTE does not guarantee any level of exposure, discovery, placement, engagement, followers, streams, or revenue resulting from your use of the Service. Any examples or metrics are illustrative and not a promise of results.

9. Removal and Enforcement

SATILYTE may modify, suspend, or remove any Artist Content or profile that violates this Agreement, our policies, or applicable law, or in response to a valid legal request. You may request removal of your profile at any time by contacting us.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SATILYTE and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your Artist Content, your breach of this Agreement, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
